Flegg High School
Flegg High Schhol is a perfect example of a new school multi-use sports floor.
Working for Mansell construction Pica Floorings were asked to provide a fully sprung main sports hall floor that met the British and European Standards minimum requirement for sports floors BSEN 14904.
As such, Pica Floorings installed a 590m² Junckers Sylvasport Premium floor, laid on a Unobat 50 undercarriage system, as illustrated below:
This provides spring resiliency and shock absorbing qualities that are required for sports and dance use to minimise injury from high impact activities.
