Happisburgh Primary School
Working for Mansell construction Pica Floorings were asked to provide a sprung timber floor to the main school hall working closely with under floor heating contractors.
The specified requirement was to lay Junckers Sylvasport Club on a New Era Cradle System. This provided a fully sprung flooring system that could be installed over an even sub floor.
The system comprises of a 22mm Junckers Press Dried Beech board, secret nailed to a kiln dried softwood batten, which is supported by foam backed strong polypropylene cradles. Fine laser levelling is undertaken to ensure a flat level floor, with cradles being packed to provide a range of heights between 74mm and 439mm.
Court marking and an extra coat of seal were provided to finish the floor.
